Start and finish an interview in your browser

Prepare a role, select microphone and meeting-tab audio, use live cues, pause safely and save the interview.

You can prepare and run an interview from the web Dashboard. You need an account with available time, a computer with a microphone, and a supported way to share the meeting’s audio. For the browser route, use desktop Chrome or Edge and open the meeting in a separate browser tab.

If your meeting must run in a desktop app, check audio options before choosing the web route. An available screen-sharing button does not establish that the browser can capture that app’s sound.

Open Start interview, or open a saved plan and choose Check sound & start. Select the correct company and role. Check the job description, cue language and selected materials, then save the preparation.

Wait for each selected file to be ready. Inspect its text beforehand in Materials. The interview uses the preparation captured when it starts. Uploading a newer resume during the conversation does not rewrite that preparation.

If OfferWoo reports another active interview, inspect the other browser tab or desktop app before deciding to end it. Starting a second page should not be your way of recovering a session.

  1. Under Your microphone, choose Select source and handle the browser’s permission prompt.
  2. Under Meeting tab, choose Select source. Select the tab where the meeting plays and enable Share tab audio in the browser chooser.
  3. Once both sources show Connected, you can start. Still meters are normal before the meeting or while nobody speaks. You can speak to check your microphone and watch the meeting meter when the other person joins.
  4. If OfferWoo reports no meeting audio, select the source again. Cancelled sharing is a recoverable choice; it does not require creating another account or paying again.
  5. Confirm that you have permission to send the conversation for transcription and AI assistance, then select Start interview. You do not need to wait for the meters to move.

The preflight meter check happens locally. It does not start a paid interview or send sound for transcription. Starting the interview begins the cloud transcription and assistance flow. Follow the interview organiser’s rules on permitted tools.

Read cues while keeping track of the question

Section titled “Read cues while keeping track of the question”

OfferWoo can begin preparing a cue from a developing question. Early text can change as more context arrives. Read the question first and use the cue for the point you need; check claims about your experience against your own knowledge.

If the question was misheard, clarify it before using the answer. If a cue is irrelevant, check the role and materials after pausing. Repeatedly clicking for another answer does not correct a wrong source or a conflicting resume.

Ask about this screen sends one frame from the selected source for analysis. Inspect what is in that source first. It does not continuously send screen frames to AI. Compact window, when supported by the browser, changes presentation only; it does not hide cues from full-screen sharing.

Do not use refresh or tab closure as the normal way to end. They can interrupt saving. Pausing does not erase minutes already used or extend a package’s expiry date.

After saving, open Interview history. Check the company, date, transcript and cues. Add your own corrections before generating a review or reusing questions. The review guide explains export and deletion.

If the page cannot continue, use troubleshooting and send the visible error and approximate time to support. Never include passwords, sign-in codes or an unredacted transcript in an initial support message.
